FAQ
Is this enough to formulate a complete feed?add
No. The Pearson Square balances protein only. A complete formulation also needs energy, amino acids, calcium/phosphorus and vitamins — for that you need a poultry nutritionist or a feed-formulation program.
What if the target protein is outside the ingredient range?add
The method won’t work — the target must fall between the two ingredient values. The calculator flags an error in that case.
What are typical ingredient protein values?add
E.g. soybean meal ~44–48% protein, corn/wheat ~8–10% — but always use the value from the label or an analysis of the actual batch.
