FCR calculator
FCR tells you how many kg of feed make 1 kg of gain. Enter feed and weight — we compute the ratio.
verifiedFrom the team that has organised work on poultry farms for years.
FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio) is a key efficiency metric. The lower it is, the cheaper you produce a kilogram of liveweight. Formula: feed used ÷ weight gain.
Leave 0 for day-old chicks.
- Przyrost masy
- 1000 kg
- FCR
- 1,53 kg/kg
Indicative result based on breed curves (Aviagen Ross/Cobb, Aviagen Turkeys) and public factors. Real values depend on the flock and conditions. The calculator sends no data — it computes in your browser.
FAQ
How is FCR calculated?add
FCR = feed used (kg) ÷ weight gain (kg). Gain is final weight minus placement weight.
What is a good broiler FCR?add
Depends on age and breed — for Ross 308 around day 42 the target is roughly 1.5–1.6. Check your line’s sheet.
Does it work for cattle and pigs?add
Yes — FCR uses feed and gain, so no breed data is needed.
